Christophe Mandallaz is a sensor of dynamic and impactful images.

His creations are the story of an early and perpetual fascination. A revelation, James Bond at the cinema in “The Man with the Golden Gun”. He created his first black and white comic strip in the guise of a secret agent who looked like 007.
Five adventures, first inspirations, the beginnings of a passion and a long creative process.
At eleven years old, he changed scenery and drew a new source of inspiration from science fiction.

“Star Wars” by Georges Lucas transports him to another universe that he explores with the tip of the brush by drawing his adventures in Indian ink, in black and white. His technique is refined, his style becomes clearer.

At fifteen, he painted in oils and acrylics and for around ten years produced hyper realistic paintings and drawings with airbrush and brush. In 2000, change of technique, new influences.

In full artistic complementarity, the universes meet, the decorations are born and come to life in large format. Often inspired by the beauty of antique statues and haute couture mannequins, the same curves are redrawn and evolve by the inlay of a superb and powerful animal which naturally rubs shoulders with a sports car. His pop art works are exhibited in galleries, where the artist achieved his first sales in 2002. Christophe Mandallaz is a capturer of dynamic and impactful images. He finds his inspirations in sport, cinema, fashion, design, automobiles, architecture, travel or forgotten ends of the world. His line illustration work allows him to transform images, to assemble universes to create visual material with high reactivity. He works with ultrachrome inks on different supports such as brushed aluminum, rusty metal, resin animal sculptures.

His passion for automobiles and motorsport led him in 2018 to work on sports car hoods like that of the Porsche 911, which he particularly likes for its aesthetics and fluidity.
For the year 2020 he is planning exhibitions in Europe to present his new creations.
