A soft and enveloping collection that plays with curves
The new Pacific collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso, generates intimacy in the almost “protective” seat, for an enveloping idea of ​​relaxation in comfort. With its round and oversized shapes, it recalls the nonchalant and relaxed atmospheres of the American West Coast, from which its name is inspired.

Pacific continues the conceptual process that began with the iconic Redondo collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola in 2010. “It is the evolution of a collection that, in recent years, has enjoyed great success, partly thanks to the use of innovative and luxurious finishes on the surface,” says Patrizia Moroso, Artistic Director of the company. “With Pacific, on the other hand, we worked more on the plan form and on the current return of curved and generous lines.”

In the Pacific sofa, the softness of the shapes is highlighted and defined by the total absence of edges and by the “haute couture” details. The soft, woolly fabric, chosen to create an extraordinary tactile effect, can be, for example, a refined toile, a soft wool or a sumptuous velvet.
